What is a Career Compass?

It hurts – emotionally, intellectually, physically, spiritually – to go to a job every day that you don’t like, that doesn’t feed your soul (or your wallet), that you are not passionate about.  It hurts to wake up every Monday morning depressed, dreading each and every work day.  As your Career Compass, I’m here to partner with you to change all that, to guide you back on track.

86% of us are unhappy with our careers. It’s unbelievable!  We spend more time with our job than anything else besides sleeping.  Even in this economy, we don’t have to live like this!  Every single one of us can have a career that brings us joy, fulfillment, meaning, purpose, & passion.  I’m committed to showing you how!

I’ve seen too many High School/College Graduates who had no idea what career to pursue.  So, they got a “temporary job”; 20 years later they are still in a career that they never even liked from the beginning.

I’ve seen men and women at all ages who dread going to work every day.  Yet, many of them have no idea what career path they would like to pursue instead.  (Have you noticed that no one ever teaches us how to discover our ideal career, how to get the job of our dreams, or how to launch our own business?)

I’ve seen many moms who love being a mom, yet still want to pursue their career dreams.  I’m here to tell you that it is possible.

And, I’ve seen retirees and empty nesters who finally want to pursue their “soul work”. Yet, again, they don’t know what that will look like or how to go about it.  Some feel it’s too late.  I don’t agree, and I’ll give you several examples of people doing incredible work later in life on one of my free calls.

I believe that most of us have the answers within.  Our purpose, our passion is buried under layers of “shoulds,” expectations of others, self-doubt, and more.  In my seminars, we’ll look deep within and discover a beautiful career path.  I focus on “soul work”.  I believe that a career that gives us total fulfillment and enhanced meaning in our lives is one that is linked to our soul, our passion, our purpose.
